I'll bet more than half of you that live in the Seattle area didn't even know there was a zoo in Issaquah. Admit it! If it makes you feel any better I didn't know a week ago either. It's not a huge zoo by any means. It's actually a zoological park, whatever that means. They have a couple cougars, alpacas, wallaby's, reindeer, and lots of birds of all different sizes. Here's a couple of my favorite shots.
Finally got around to making my flight reservations to Vegas in June for a friend's wedding. I think this will be her third. Hopefully this one goes better than her last couple. She seems to be pretty happy and sure that he is "the one" so I'm happy for her.
I'll be staying for 3 nights, though I still haven't decided where to stay yet. I'm leaning towards Harrah's cuz it's cheap and near the hotel the wedding will be at. Though I have a co-worker that knows some people and he may be able to get me a room at the Venetian, but I'm not going to count on that. I don't really know what I'm going to be doing down there for 3 days. Not sure if I'll make it to any shows. The only show I'm kinda interested in seeing is Phantom. I've seen all the Cirque shows, which are all pretty good, but I've seen them too many times to justify seeing em again. If I go to any shows it will be something I haven't seen yet.
A couple weeks before I go to Vegas I'll be in Hotlanta to attend a planning meeting with the rest of the engineering managers. Not really looking forward to that trip but maybe I'll get to go to some good restaurants on the company or on our vendors.
I don't have any other trips planned for this year yet. I'll probably visit the family in Montana at some point, probably Christmas or Thanksgiving or not, I don't know.
