There's a lot of card games in Vegas that I had never tried so I decided this trip I was going to try them all and I pretty much succeeded. Though for some reason we couldn't find a Spanish 21 table anywhere on the last day. I know we saw one somewhere but couldn't find one but we played some other weird 21 game that I'd never seen before so I guess that makes up for it. The dealers were all pretty kewl about teaching us how to play the various games. You could even show them your cards and they'd tell you what they would do if it was their hand. I don't even remember all the games I played, I should have kept track. These are the ones that I remember: Craps, Roulette, Black Jack (a couple diff versions), Caribbean Poker, Pai Gow, Bacarat, Texas Hold em, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker, and possibly a few others I can't remember. It was fun learning how to play all the different games. Ended up coming out ahead on this trip and able to pay for the trip so that was a nice bonus.
Looking forward to going again in June. I'm still deciding where to stay. The wedding is at the Venetian but I'm leaning towards staying at Harrah's, which is right next door and is a little cheaper. They were smart and are having the wedding during the week so the hotel prices won't be so bad.
Don't have any other trips planned for this year yet. I'll probably go to MT and visit the family at some point and am also thinking about visiting a friend in Colorado who is due to have a baby any day now.
