It's that time of year

Week 5 - Making Lotion
Originally uploaded by gapey
The soap and lotion making has been at an all time high this year. I've received lots of requests for soaps and lotions from family, friends, and co-workers. I made two batches of lotion last night and three the night before to fill some new orders. I've also started making gift bags for $10 this year that contain a bar of soap and a bottle of lotion. They seem to be a hit. Let me know if you're interested in anything. You can check my website to see what I currently have in inventory. If you're local just send me an email or reply here with what you'd like and I won't charge you shipping.

  1. My hat's off to you--there's no way I could pour lotion like that. I buy disposable piping bags and squeeze it into the bottles from there. To me it's worth the lack of hassle to put out the money for them, because, well, I'd lose the whole batch trying to just pour it.

I'll try to get over to the store when things settle down, which will likely be after con, the first weekend in April.

  2. Paula, I've been thinking about trying to make my own lotions but I'm lazy I guess. Can you tell me the ingredients in your lotions? I didn't see it on the website. Thank you!
