Buying my first laptop

I've never bought a laptop before. I've always bought desktops. I have a laptop but it's a work laptop that is a piece o' crap. I wasn't really planning on buying one. I have thought about it but that's about it no plans to actually go through with it. But I just couldn't pass up this deal that Dell is having right now. $750 off a $1500 laptop. That puts it at $750 laptop and it's not a piece of crap laptop either it's a decent piece of machine.
